Choose Life

Do you hope your child will make good choices?

All of us desire our children to make good choices, but we can not control their decisions. In Deuteronomy 30:19 it says “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! “

You can’t control the choices your children make, but you can choose life.  As you choose to be life-giving in your relationship with your children you will be obeying God and serving Him as you steward the life of your child. They will be in your home such a relatively short amount of time.  Your daily choices as a parent will pave the way for those that follow in your footsteps.  When you make good choices, your children will be more likely to choose wisely as they see your example.
