Sue Detweiler interviews Monica Robertson

Monica Robertson is from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  She has served in bi-vocational ministry for 29 years.  She has been married to David Robertson for 25 years and they have served in ministry together since 1996 when David left Nissan Motor Manufacturing and answered the call to the ministry.   She is currently a Licensed Minister of Pastoral Counseling and directs a counseling ministry called The WAYstation.  She homeschooled her one daughter, 20 year old Abigail Grace from Preschool through graduation.  Abigail now studies Nursing at Motlow State Community College and hopes to use her skills in foreign missions.

 

Sue Detweiler interviews Denise Hildreth Jones

Denise Hildreth Jones is a Nashville author and an international speaker.  Her writing credits include two novels, Savannah from Savannah and Savannah Comes Undone.

In 2007 after Denise’s divorce she went on a fervent attempt to reclaim her shut-down heart. After spending years traveling and speaking and leading Bible Studies, Denise knew that if there was one message she would want to share with people it would be how important their God designed heart is.

In 2011 she began a nonprofit called “Reclaiming Hearts Ministries” whose mission is to provide men and women Biblical Teaching and resources that reconnect them to their God designed heart. In 2010, Denise married Phily Jones and became a “bonus mom” to 5 children.

 

Sue Detweiler interviews Elizabeth Claybaker, Part 2

Raised in Los Angeles, California, Elizabeth Claybaker graduated high school at the age of 16 and went on to attend a junior college before transferring to UCLA as a Junior. She served as Director of Women’s Issues for UCLA’s student government, and then became President of the Student Body after a highly controversial election.

After graduating from UCLA in 2002, Elizabeth moved to Washington, D.C. where she worked on the presidential campaign, served as Managing Editor for the Presidential Inauguration Committee, and as Deputy Director of USDA’s Faith Based and Community Initiative.

She has worked as a magazine editor, an event producer, and as Director of Community Relations for Mercy Ministries of America’s Corporate Headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee, where she currently resides with her husband Ben and her 3 ½ year-old son, Jackson, who entered their family through the miracle of adoption. Currently, Elizabeth’s husband Ben is running for State Representative for District 53 in Nashville and she is helping his campaign as much as possible. Elizabeth and Ben are also expecting a daughter on October 24th.

Elizabeth has spoken to hundreds of young people all over the world inspiring them to be a leader in their generation and to change the world.

Toni Kline is a mother to many. She has been married to Kevin for 27 years and God called them to a parent adult children. They do not have any biological children, but they  answered a mandate from the Lord to pour into the next generation. They have helped to “parent” adult kids that need love and care. Toni serves as an associate pastor at New Song Christian Fellowship and pastors the young adult ministry of 18 to 30 year olds. Sandy has been married to her husband David Houston for 35 years. Brenda Kean is the mother of 4 beautiful daughters and serves along with her husband Garry as a missionary in Kenya Africa.
