Strength In Song
“Surely, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid, The LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation” Isaiah 12:2.
Are you ever in situations that you find yourself fearful or worried.
Fear is a debilitating emotion. Fear will not only zap your strength it will cause a negative perspective that will keep you from truly trusting in God.
Would you rather meditate on your difficult situation OR to meditate on the greatness of your salvation? Trusting in God will put a song in your heart. Have you ever noticed if you begin to sing that sorrow flees away. My grandma Beaula was about 4 ft 11 inches tall and not quite that wide. She raised 9 children in the midst of the poverty of the Great depression. But one of the things that her children remember about her is how she would sing when she worked. She seemed to sing even louder when it was a dreary rainy day.
Today, change your focus. Meditate on the greatness of God. Make the Lord Jesus Christ your strength and your song.
